TEAC's CD-2000 incorporates the same high quality D/A converter chipset used in his "little brother", the CD-1000.  In addition, the CD-2000 has a USB Audio Class2 input allowing digital audio data from a PC to be routed directly to the internal D/A converter. True, detailed reproduction from the music library stored on a PC is guaranteed.  Equipped with balanced analog audio outputs, the CD-2000 makes a perfect source matching the AI-2000 amplifier.

All Distinction Series components are manufactured using individually selected electronic audio components placed in solid housings sporting elegant, timeless front panels made from 10 mm brushed aluminum and available in silver or black finish.
